2nd Claybrooke Beer Festival

August Bank Holiday Weekend 2009

Among all the other events taking place over the August bank holiday week end was the 2nd Claybrooke Beer Festival held at the Pig In Muck. With some 20 beers available along with 4 ciders (all Westons) and copious entertainment (bands, dancers and singers!). My own personal view was that it was a great improvement on last year's event - even the weather was better - only just!

The "Willey" brew I found to be of particular interest as it is the new addition to Rugby Brewery's portfolio - even if the slightly contrived "warmer" may have better saved for a winter ale!

With beers from Oakleaf, Moles, Goffs, Great Oakley amongst others, to the more local Castle Rock and Titanic, I am sure that if you attended you were not disappointed.
